Tasks to expect during a clean:

  • Thorough cleaning of kitchen - inside microwave, stovetop, exterior polish of appliances, clear and clean under countertops, cabinet faces, dishwashing

  • Bathrooms: scrub tub/shower, sink, toilet, bath counters, polish glass, collect trash

  • High and low hand dusting of surfaces (must be less than 50% cluttered)

  • Bedmaking if clean set of sheets are left out

  • Vacuuming all flooring and under furniture

  • Mopping

  • Baseboard care

  • Trash and recycling collection and removal

  • Interior of other appliances (refrigerator, oven, etc) can be added on for an additional fee

  • Every bathroom must have a dedicated toilet brush in a holder for toilet bowl cleaning. I can gift the home toilet brushes with advance notice and an additional fee.

  • Shelving holding delicate, sentimental, or spiritual items will not be touched and only gently dusted on request and with specific instruction.

  • Spot cleaning of upholstery or carpet with a Bissell Green Machine available as an add-on.

  • All add-on services require advance notice and consultation. Some add-ons may not be offered on an initial clean.

Laundry and Housekeeping Services

Laundry is an essential, but often time-consuming task that can easily become overwhelming. I offer in-home laundry services - a great relief for people with mobility limitations, the busy parent, professional, on the go person, or if you just need a break!

Laundry services are offered only after an extensive consultation and walkthrough of your laundry system and preferences. Some clients just request folding and putting away, some just cycling through the washer and dryer, and some the full system - sort, wash, dry, fold, and put away. This personal service requires knowledge of your specific preferences. Laundry care pricing varies.

Quality, non-toxic, unscented free and clear detergent can be provided for an additional fee.

For clients who enjoy fragrance, luxuriously scented detergent can also be provided upon request for an additional fee. Fragranced products are never used unless requested.

Dishwashing and light tidying are also offered. I include up to 15 minutes of dishwashing in every standard clean. If you have more than 15 minutes or so of dishes in the sink - that’s no problem! Please let me know before I arrive. Extensive dishwashing may incur a small extra fee.

Tidying can involve picking up and putting away toys, placing clothes in hampers, putting away pantry items or dishes, etc. This will also take some consultation and knowledge of the general flow of the home.

Move-out/Move-in Cleans, and Service Restrictions

Move out and move in cleans include all of the aforementioned tasks as well as:

  • Interior and exterior of appliances is included in the base price of move-out cleans

  • Interior and exterior of cabinets

  • Cleaning doors and window interiors

  • The home must be empty of furniture to effectively complete a move out clean. Any large items remaining will be cleaned around or under to the best of my ability

  • Fridge and cabinets must be emptied out for cleaning to be done.

I work solo on most of my cleans, and typically only carry natural home cleaning agents. Therefore I have some limitations in my service. Currently I am not able to:

  • Clean any human or pet waste

  • Work inside or around an active pest infestation

  • Collect or haul away large amounts of trash or clutter (exceptions may be made with extensive consultation)

  • I am not a trained declutter service provider at this time. I am not able to organize personal items.

  • Per my insurance I cannot lift or move furniture weighing more than 25lbs.

  • Per my insurance I may only clean what can be reached by myself or my assistant while standing on top of a two step ladder with extendable tools

I must have access to electricity, clean running water, adequate lighting, and during extreme weather, working A/C in order to efficiently clean.
